By Matt Bacak Question: I'm in the seminar circuit and I wrote a book. The book is on Amazon. I was wondering about resources to promote my book, the fastest and most profitable way. Who would you use for teleseminars and promoting my book?
Answer: I'm assuming you're talking about creating a best seller campaign for your book. As far as teleseminars go, you will probably not get a lot of opportunities to market your book this way. There just isn't enough money in selling your book on a teleseminar. A book is more of a lead generator. Nobody is going to promote your book, especially if the book is in physical form. For example, let's say you sell your book for $15. This means the teleseminar partner would only be making $5 per book. They will have other opportunities that will make them more money than your book, so you won't get teleseminars. So let me reframe the question: Who would you use for teleseminars? If you are asking about specific teleseminar companies then I would recommend instanttelesminars. They are an excellent company. You could also try Eagle Teleconferencing or thebasementventures. If you are looking for places to promote your book then go to Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The best way to promote your book, get a lot of people to promote, and to make a lot of sales is to: 1. Do a Best Seller Campaign. I would have Warren Whitlock manage and run this campaign. 2. Pick a date when you will be doing the big book launch. Why pick a date? Because more people will jump on more board because people love being part of something. 3. Have the campaign designed so that everybody will be selling the book on a specific date. Everybody will mail out to their list on this day. You need to find joint venture partners to do this. 4. Your goal is to get to the top ranking on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. It is easier, and takes less sales, to get to the top of Barnes & Noble than Amazon. If you grab the top ranking on these websites then you can claim that your book is an Amazon Bestseller or Barnes & Noble Bestseller. The ranking on the Amazon and Barnes & Noble are calculated on an hourly basis. So have your list mail out at a specific time. These big launches will bring in leads. Plus, it will earn you a legendary status. More people will know who you are. It will start to be easier to obtain joint ventures because people will recognize your name. It is a snowball effect.
